Blood of Jesus (EO03)

'Endtime Overcomers'
Blood of the Lamb

The Amazing love of Jesus
Before our Lord Jesus went back to heaven, He offered Himself as the living sacrifice to free Christians from the curses of their sins. Our Lord Jesus amazing sacrificial love can be found in: -

1. Jesus Sweated Blood
Luke 22:43-44 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Our Lord called on the angel to prevent Him dying from the excruciating pain, which was way beyond human tolerance till He sweated blood to destroy the curse on the ground to free Christians from curses caused by sins.
Gen 3:17b, 19a  “Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life... In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground…”

2. Jesus Given Stripes
Luke 23:22 Then he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has He done? I have found no reason for death in Him. I will therefore chastise Him and let Him go.”
He offered Himself to be scourged for our healing of both our physical bodies and souls.
1 Pet 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed

3. Thorns and Thistle
Mat 27:29a, 30b When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand... Then they spat on Him, and took the reed (thistle) and struck Him on the head.
The blood, caused by the thorns and reed (thistles) piercing His head, fell to the ground and removed the curse upon all men.
Gen 3:18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field.

4. Blood at the Cross
John 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
Jesus poured His blood on the cross for the propitiation of our sins
Mat 26:27-28 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

5. Jesus tasted Death
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God , might taste death for everyone.
Jesus tasted death on our behalf, so that Christians don't suffer any painful death. Those being martyred will see our Lord Jesus before any harm touches His body.
Mat 16:28 “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

6. Free from Fear of Death
Heb 2:14-15 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Jesus died so that He could destroy the Devil who had the power of death and set Christians free from the bondage of the fear of death.

7. Jesus Rose from the Dead
Luke 24:6-7 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Our Lord constantly reminded His disciples to preach the gospel of grace. Whoever believes the gospel, our Lord Jesus will give him the Holy Spirit of redemption making him a born-again Christian.
The blood of Jesus redeems Christians from damnation and frees them from curses.
